LGBTQIA+ Friendly Churches
Lutherans for Love participants are allies and LGBTQIA+ folks of local churches who believe in the all-inclusive love of God. To us, all truly means all!
Participating churches of Lutherans for Love are proud Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregations. This means they have been approved as a safe church community for the LGBTQIA+ community by the organization Reconciling Works.
Reconciling Works acknowledges the ways LGBTQIA+ folks have been victimized, wounded, and cast out by harmful misinterpretations of the Bible and seeks to establish a network of churches where members of the LGBTQIA+ community can feel safe and truly welcome to worship.
